Session and Live Musician
What I bring is versatility.
My musical philosophy is preparation with flexibility. As a classically trained and self-taught multi-instrumentalist, I have performed everywhere, from the stage of Benaroya Hall to the local pub. I have recorded at the Art Institue and home studios alike. I have tackled most music genres including classical, pop, folk, alternative, indie rock, and contemporary worship. I understand the frustration of having a band member bail at the last minute or finding a string musician who can improvise on the fly.
Musical Resume and Experiences
- 18 years of combined classical training on the Piano, Violin and Viola
- 10 years with the Seattle Youth Symphony Orchestra, participated in other orchestras and ensamble performances
- Music Theory training from Seattle Conservatory of Music
- 2006 and 2007 Washington State Solo and Ensemble Contest finalist for viola
- Self-taught guitarist, bassist, and drummer. Served as a multi-instrumentalist at Evangelical Chinese Church
- Recording artist at The Art Institute. Session and live musician for Hinges and released my own album
- Resident drummer at Marketplace Church
Rates and Resources
